Tours Coordinator

Callum is the one of the youngest members of the team, joining AM Sports Tours at the tender age of 18 back in the summer of 2013. Callum has excelled in his position and continues to be a valuable member of the team.

Callum studied Sports Coaching at College and achieved a HND award. During his time at College, Callum was selected by AM Sports Tours and the College tutors to take part in the European Union funded Leonardo Mobility Program. The program assists young aspiring coaches by providing them with a two-week coaching placement at the Swedish Olympic Institute for Sport in Stockholm. Callum’s successful completion of the project led to him returning the Stockholm the following year, this time as a leading member of staff where he coordinated the Leonardo Mobility Project for three UK colleges.

Callum was a model example of the aims of the Leonardo Mobility project and was granted the apprenticeship with AM Sports Tours as Tours Assistant. In his post, Callum has achieved an SQA business administration award as part of the project and become an ambassador for Erasmus Plus, a European Union programme for education, training, youth and sport.

Callum is now responsible for coordinating the English Premier League and LA Liga Weekend tours and frequently travels with sports groups to some of the top European fixtures including FC Barcelona, Manchester City, Newcastle United, Manchester United, etc. Callum has experience in coordinating elite football camps in Portugal, managing groups in Eastern Europe, assisting with international teams travelling to the UK and was an integral part of the AM Sports Tours World Cup Academy in Brazil and Euro 2016 project in France.

He has developed into an excellent soccer coach and currently coaches with AM Soccer Club 2007’s team. He plays a key role in the AM Sports Tours Pro Youth Experience, coaching professional youth players from around the world.

He is a strong soccer player having played professional youth with Scottish sides Raith Rovers and East Fife FC. Callum has played with the men’s first team at AM Soccer Club since its beginning in 2012 which successfully remained unbeaten during its first season to win the league title and raking up a few goal of the season awards.
