Tournament Director

Ross began working with AM Soccer Club in 2010 when he joined the coaching team to become involved with coaching team football. The opportunity to coach within AM Soccer Club led Ross towards opportunity to coach and travel within the club, eventually becoming a member of the AM Sports Tours team.

Since joining the tours, Ross has travelled to the USA to deliver elite level soccer camps and most notably he was instrumental in the planning, logistics and delivery of the football programme at the AM Sports Tours Euro 2016 Tour in the South of France where more than 200 young players competed in a festival against local French teams. Ross also has experience in the delivery of tours in London, Rome, Barcelona and his native Scotland.

Ross is the current Tournament Coordinator of the Heart of Midlothian FC Invitational Tournaments that are run by AM Sports Tours, which sees some of the best professional youth academies in the world compete at the state of the art Oriam facilities in Edinburgh.

During his playing days Ross played professionally with Scottish Premiership Team, Dundee FC as a youth before signing a full-time contract after school which saw him stay at the club for 3 years. Following this, Ross joined Forfar Athletic before continuing his studies at Abertay University in Dundee. Ross twinned his academics studies in Sports Coaching with his work at AM Soccer Club and playing semi-professional football in the Tayside area for Lochee United and Tayport FC. 

Ross recently attained with UEFA B Licence and still coaches with AM Soccer Club, as well as planning and delivering the Pro Youth Experience programme for AM Sports Tours.
