Tours Coordinator

Ross started working with AMsoccer Club in 2010 when he joined the coaching team to become involved with coaching team football. The opportunity to coach within AMsoccer Club led Ross towards opportunity to coach and travel within the club, eventually becoming a member of the AM Sports Tours team.

Since joining the tours, Ross has travelled to USA to deliver elite level soccer camps and most notably he was instrumental in the planning, logistics and delivery of the football programme at the AM Sports Tours Euro 2016 Tour in the South of France where more than 200 young players competed in a festival against local French teams. Ross also has experience in the delivery of tour in Rome, Barcelona and his native Scotland.

During his playing days Ross played professionally with Scottish Premiership Team, Dundee FC as a youth before signing a full-time contract after school which saw him stay at the club for 3 years. Following this, Ross joined Forfar Athletic before continuing his studies at Abertay University in Dundee. Ross twinned his academics studies in Sports Coaching with his work at AMsoccer Club and playing semi-professional football in the Tayside area for Lochee United and Tayport FC.

Ross still coaches within AMsoccer Club at present, coaching the U16 team after leading both the U15 and U19s to silverware at the end of season 2015/16. He is also the Captain of the AMsoccer Club amateur team – winning player of the year and Goal of the season last season.
